Sally Anthony - "Turn the Page"

One thing I adore is a good cover song, especially when the style is switched up and creates a whole new aesthetic for the song. My favorites are pop songs covered by indie artists and hard rock songs covered by women and made soft and sappy.

My friend Robert sent me a suggestion for one of the latter, and I had to share it. Of course, "Turn the Page" was originally a Bob Seger song, but I would venture to say that the majority of us will best know this song as a well-known Metallica single.

Sally Anthony is a pop-rock artist that used the internet to grow a following. She has recently released her latest album called "Goodbye" and has made two tracks from the album available for free on her website, linked above. All the tracks are definitely worth a listen, but as a girl who loves a good cover song, I gotta say her version of "Turn the Page" is my favorite.

Hey guys...if you like that you should check out Sally's cover of "Not An Addict" on the new CD. It's a remake of the 90's K's Choice song. It is AWESOME!
